Terms of Service

1. What PressPop provides

PressPop distributes press releases and related content to media outlets, newswires, and syndicated networks selected by you at checkout, and provides visibility tooling across search and AI answer surfaces. Available outlets, tiers, and turnaround times are shown in the campaign builder and confirmed on your order.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use PressPop. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to submit or distribute content that:

• is illegal, defamatory, fraudulent, or misleading;
• infringes intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
• promotes hate, harassment, or violence;
• relates to regulated categories (financial products, health claims, gambling, crypto assets, adult content) without required disclosures and approvals;
• violates the editorial guidelines of a selected outlet.

We may reject, edit for compliance, delay, or refuse to distribute content that we reasonably believe breaches these rules or an outlet's guidelines. If we do, we'll tell you why and work with you on a fix where possible.

4. What we guarantee — and what we don't

We guarantee publication on the specific outlets included in your paid order, within the timeframe shown at checkout (typically 72 hours for standard distribution).

We do not guarantee independent editorial coverage, journalist opinion, feature articles, interviews, rankings, or any specific search or AI-answer visibility outcome — no service can honestly promise those. What we can promise is that your release reaches the outlets you paid for.

5. Pricing, taxes & billing

Prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD). Customers in the UAE are charged in the UAE Dirham (AED) equivalent at the fixed exchange rate of 3.6725 AED per USD. All prices are inclusive of applicable UAE VAT (currently 5%) where it applies, and your tax invoice shows the VAT amount separately. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Indicative prices and premium/"price-on-request" outlets are confirmed via a written quote before charging. Once you accept a quote and pay, the confirmed price applies.

6. Refunds

Our Refund Policy (including our 100% placement guarantee) is set out separately and forms part of these Terms. See Refund Policy.

7. Subscriptions & memberships

Membership plans (monthly or annual) renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard ("Manage subscription" / billing portal); access and included credits continue until the end of the current billing period. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Each billing cycle adds the plan's credit allotment to your wallet.

8. Wallet credits & referrals

Wallet credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, cannot be withdrawn as cash, and may expire. Referral rewards are granted only when a referred user completes their first paid order. We may withhold or revoke credits and rewards in cases of fraud, abuse, or self-referral.

9. AI-generated content

Our AI tools (press-release writer, translations, and social content) produce drafts that you must review and approve before use or distribution. You are responsible for the accuracy, claims, and rights in any content you approve and submit; PressPop is not liable for AI-generated text you approve.

10. Agencies & resellers

Holders of agency accounts are responsible for their sub-clients' content and compliance with these Terms, and indemnify PressPop against claims arising from that content. Wholesale pricing and white-label reporting apply as configured for approved agencies.

11. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant PressPop and its distribution partners a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to reproduce, format, distribute, and display that content for the purpose of fulfilling your order. You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license.

The PressPop platform, brand, and software are owned by PressPop and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the platform.

12. Third-party services

PressPop relies on third parties including Stripe (payments), Supabase (data infrastructure), and email delivery providers. Their handling of your data is governed by their own terms.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PressPop's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim in the 90 days before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, reputation, or data.

14. Termination

You can close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or that expose PressPop, our partners, or other users to legal or reputational risk.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Emirate of Dubai, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply to you.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice. Continued use of PressPop after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
